Director of Purchasing Appointed To Support the Management of Inventory

Los Angeles, CA—December 2, 2004—New Age Electronics, Inc. Kevin Smigel, Director of Purchasing – Smigel joins New Age to oversee the management of inventory, distribution and purchasing company-wide. His role will include the buying and selling of inventory, working with vendors like Hewlett-Packard (HP), Kodak, Lexmark and Canon. In addition, Smigel will evaluate inventory turns to eliminate excess inventory and develop profitability strategy to drive sales at the distribution level. Prior to joining New Age, Smigel worked for the commercial distributor Merisel, Inc., where he was the director of product and inventory management responsible for the computer channels. Smigel earned a B.S. degree in marketing from the University of Maryland.
