New Age Donates 100 Notebooks to Israeli Soldiers
New Age founders, Lee Perlman and Adam Carroll, have made a notebook donation to Israeli soldiers in memory of Lees’ cousin, Moshe Himmelfarb.
Moshe died in service during the Six Days’ War of 1967. The Six Days’ War was fought between Israel and the Arab states of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria. From its beginning to the end, the war lasted 132 hours and 30 minutes (less than 6 days).
Lee visited Israel two years later in the summer of 1969 with a youth group from the tri-state NY metropolitan area. While traveling to Haifa, Lee had the opportunity to stay with several relatives whom he had never met. One of those families had lost Moshe.
The tour continued and the youth group encountered a group of Israeli soldiers standing around in Masada. At that moment Lee knew he wanted to help and was far too young to become a soldier. The youth tour was a tremendous experience and Lee would never forget the relatives he had met. He has visited Israel twice since 1969. Today, Lee and his partner, Adam Carroll, are pleased to offer their support.

New Age Partners With The Friendship Circle South Bay
New Age is proud to partner with the Friendship Circle South Bay. While many organizations address the issues of children with special needs, most are focused on goal-oriented therapeutic care. The Friendship Circle brings another dimension in that it offers unconditional love. By having this love flow from the youthful spirit of well-guided teenagers, its effectiveness has proven to be remarkable. These volunteers have been able to reach the children in ways that professionals, or even family members, have not.
